produrre suoni melodiosi. Il gruppo Antica Liuteria Sangineto tributa il
proprio nome all’attività artigiana di Michele Sangineto. A fianco dei
gemelli Adriano e Caterina Sangineto c’è il chitarrista e
polistrumentista Jacopo Ventura.
ballate popolari posteriori. Il CD è stato realizzato presso il
“Wardencliff Studio” di Biassono a cura di Gigi de Martino e Mario
Murace.
CD produced by Michele Sangineto in 2013.
This work was born around Michele Sangineto's violin making. It is a
practical demonstration of how absolutely obsolete musical instruments,
perhaps the result of the imagination of Renaissance master painters,
can play and produce melodious sounds. The group Antica Liuteria
Sangineto pays its name to the artisan activity of Michele Sangineto.
Alongside the twins Adriano and Caterina Sangineto there is the
guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Jacopo Ventura.
The CD comes with a booklet showing the photos of the instruments used
and the pictures from which they were taken. The repertoire ranges from
the music of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance with some forays into
popular back ballads. The CD was produced at Biassono's "Wardencliff
Studio" by Gigi de Martino and Mario Murace.
doti canore e musicali; buon gusto nel selezionare le musiche e i testi;
Ferrari; Giorgione; Jan Van Eyck.
Vaqueiras, re Enrico VIII Tudor, Michael Praetorius, Giorgio Mainerio,
Perhaps
there is still a large number of people who know how to appreciate what
must be the first gift of a piece of music: good taste. Good taste in knowing how to present one's musical and singing skills; good taste in selecting music and lyrics; good taste in choosing the tools through which to explain one's art; good taste, finally, in knowing how to make a recording at the same time complete and pleasant.
Concerto
The growing success of the Sangineto ensemble comforts us in
considering the above just right and I am therefore pleased to indicate
to the readers this CD, which undoubtedly marks an entrance into the full
maturity of the Sangineto group (about which we received news of the
voluntary abstention, we hope momentary, of one of the original
components). The disc in question draws its inspiration from the
activity of the head of the family, Michele, who dedicated passionate
research and years of work as a luthier in reconstructing musical
instruments
handed down to us exclusively through pictorial images and perhaps
never constructed in reality. The sources are very fascinating names:
Leonardo Da Vinci; Piero di Cosimo; Gaudenzio Ferrari; Giorgione; Jan
Van Eyck. In the accompanying booklet the works that have been inspired
are also reproduced and on the CD there is a data track with the
graphic presentation of the same instruments.
The record contains 15 musical pieces ranging from the 12th to the 16th
century, by Raimbaut de Vaqueiras, King Henry VIII Tudor, Michael
Praetorius, Giorgio Mainerio, Guillaume de Machaut, as well as various
anonymous. The performers are: Adriano and Caterina Sangineto and
Jacopo Ventura to whom all must recognize a profound skill, but let us
highlight the complete artistic excellence achieved by the
voice of Caterina Sangineto, which must be placed in the limited number
of our singers of greater importance,
next to the voices of Antonella Ruggiero and Lucilla Galeazzi (and sorry if it is little).
