Album Notes
Guilderoy Byrne performs traditional and contemporary songs, tunes, and stories. Music includes Celtic and
international selections played on a variety of acoustic, folk instruments.
Greg Byrne on vocals & guitars.
Co-founding member of two longstanding traditional groups: Lexington,
KY-based Mad Catherine & the Moondog Pirates, and Louisville,
KY-based
Galloglas. Has performed throughout the USA and Canada as both soloist
and group member. Native of Covington, KY whose father’s family
immigrated to the USA from Ireland in 1842 by way of Philadelphia.
Mother’s family is Scottish.

Mark Cannon on vocals, whistle, flute, mandolin, fiddle & percussion.
An accomplished multi-instrumentalist. There is not a traditional
instrument Mark hasn't played or contemplated playing! Former member of
traditional group
Ten Penny Bit, and a well-known band leader for local and regional folk
dances. Mark is an excellent singer and contributes stirring vocal
pieces to the group’s performances. He'll also delight audiences
with hilarious drinking songs on occasion!
Danette Rhoads on fiddle, guitar, mandolin, and bass.
Danette brings an eclectic blend of fiddle playing to the band using
clean, lyrical lines that reflect influences of bluegrass, classical,
and folk music. A classically trained
violinist since age 5, she also began bluegrass fiddle lessons to
ensure a diverse musical experience. A former member of Louisville,
KY-based Celtic band Galloglass, she was most recently a member of
Skean Dubh, an Irish band based out of Denver, CO. She has also written
original tunes and performed at many music festivals, including Aspen,
Tanglewood, and the Kentucky Folk Festival.
Tiffany Taylor on vocals & percussion.
15+-year music career as a soloist and ensemble member. Introduced to
contemporary and traditional music at an early age by parents who were
gifted entertainers in their own right.
Has performed with the notable Louisville, KY Voces Novae chorus and
numerous regional recording artists including Terry White, Gary Falk,
Bernie Schweickart, and Rick Bartlett. Holds a Masters in Arts
Administration from Indiana University in Bloomington.
